Description
This Feng Shui hanging features the Lucky Cat, also known as Maneki-neko, a widely recognised symbol of luck, prosperity, and opportunity in East Asian tradition. The cat is shown holding a wealth coin, a classic motif associated with attracting money, good fortune, and positive outcomes, particularly in business and trade.
The figure is Brass with a soft antique-style finish, giving it a warm, traditional look that works well in both modern and classic interiors. Detailed engravings across the body and coin add texture and depth, while the red accent on the reverse highlights the symbolic connection to luck and vitality. Stylised Chinese characters appear as decorative blessings linked to fortune and abundance, used symbolically rather than as literal text.
Suspended from a beaded hanging cord combining black, cream, amber-toned and wooden beads, the piece balances visual contrast with Feng Shui colour harmony. The cord allows it to be easily hung near entrances, tills, desks, shelves, or in wealth-related areas of the home or workplace, where it is traditionally used to welcome prosperity and protect financial energy.
Both decorative and meaningful, this Lucky Cat hanging is well suited to shops, offices, studios, or as a thoughtful gift for those drawn to Feng Shui, symbolism, and prosperity-focused décor.
